Jacqueline Gil is a dedicated advocate committed to vindicating workers’ civil rights. She has experience investigating and litigating discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases, and she has been working to advance civil rights both prior to and throughout her legal career. She represents a diverse range of clients in fields that include banking and finance, entertainment, farm work, human resources, legal, medical, public utilities, and tech. 
 
Prior to joining AK+G, Jacqueline worked at the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, where she represented the State of California in pursuit of its mission to protect Californians from unlawful discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations and from hate violence and human trafficking.
 
Jacqueline earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2018 where she received USC’s Public Service Award, the Justice Wiley W. Manuel Certificate, and the Mason C. Brown Award for her demonstrated commitment to public interest and her talent for trial work.  While in law school, she served as a CELA diversity fellow and completed an externship with the Honorable Phillip S. Gutierrez in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
 
She received a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Italian from Long Beach State University.  When Jacqueline is not working, she enjoys snowboarding in the local mountains and running on the beach.
